For some time now, I’ve been moving toward a shift in my work. I’m transitioning from a traditional psychotherapy-based practice into one that is intuitive, heart-led, and rooted in the sacred.
What does that mean?
This change has been building for years. And lately, I feel like my inner world and outer world are aligning in a way that supports this transition.
Quietly, behind the scenes, I’ve long been integrating a deeper, more intuitive awareness into both my personal life and my work with clients. What used to feel like something I had to keep separate now feels ready to be acknowledged more openly.
In a time where so much is being revealed and questioned, it feels appropriate to include my own form of disclosure. At the same time, I’ve felt a growing tension with the limitations of traditional psychotherapy. There is value in it and always will be. But the gaps have become harder to ignore. The cost of ongoing weekly sessions is not sustainable for many people. The structure of the 50-minute hour can feel restrictive, meaningful insights often emerge just as the session ends.
There is also the habit of revisiting trauma that keeps the nervous system activated in fight-or-flight, rather than supporting the deeper healing that happens when the body shifts into a more regulated, parasympathetic state.
Therapy can also be more subjective than we like to admit. Interpretations vary, and at times this can lead to misunderstanding. And behind the scenes, many clinicians are carrying more than they were ever trained to hold. Burnout is common. Add to that the increasing role of insurance companies, they both shape and limit treatment. The work can feel constrained in ways that doesn’t support authentic healing.
There is also a quiet contradiction in the traditional model: therapists are often expected to remain distant from the healing process, while at the same time being deeply involved in it. We are humana and the work is inherently relational.
So where does that leave us? For me, it opens the door to practical magic.

This distinction matters. You oversee your own healing.
Anything that arises in a session should resonate with you first. If it doesn’t, I want you to question it. Push back. Your inner knowing is valued.
