      Are You In A Trance?

      Do you pray?

Do you meditate or work with visualizations?

Have you awakened in the morning and felt like you are between two worlds?

Have you missed your exit when you were driving home from work?

Have you watched an intense movie and believed that you were there?

Have you called to your children when they were gaming, and they did not hear you?

How about reading a good book and you lost yourself in the story?

Have you meant to do something in your mind and then forget to do it?

      Do you daydream?

Has your partner or child asked you a question about your day and you don’t know what they said?

These are all examples of hypnotic trance. We move in and out of trance all day long. It is a natural state for us. Children and animals move more easily through the trance state. It is why they can fully embrace the moment. However, movies, television and the press have given an inaccurrate meaning to the practice of hypnosis.

Here are some of things that you may have heard or thought about.

1-Hypnotherapists have special powers. We do have special skills and experience that we can share with your permission. However, we do have wonderful abilities that may help you to heal easily and quickly.

2- Hypnosis will only work with certain people. It is my experience, that it will work with everyone that is motivated and willing to change. The presence of trust between the client and the hypnotherapist is essential.

3-In the hypnotic state, you will say or do things against your beliefs. You are conscious and aware for the whole time. You will never do or say anything that is not in your highest good.

4- You can get stuck in hypnosis. Since you are always conscious, you can simply open your eyes and leave the trance state.

      5. You can become dependent upon hypnosis. The trance state goal is to encourage the cooperation of the conscious and the unconscious mind to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal. You can choose to use it regularly.

If you are curious about QHHT or hypnotherapy in general, please give me a call. I love to talk about the success stories and possibilities for your own personal transformation.
