Magic, Abracadabra and Grace

What images show up when you think of magic? Fairy tales, abracadabra chants, broomsticks, black cats... or?

A stage magician who pulls a rabbit out of a hat?

Doing magic tricks with cards as a kid?

Being in the right place at the right time?

Getting the right information to make life changing decisions?

An ancient practice rooted in rituals, divinations and culture?

Missing a flight that later crashed?

Seeing a black cat or a mirror break?

Reading a book about dragons, fairies and other elementals?

Feeling peaceful and confident after a QHHT session?

Eating your favorite dessert?

Falling in love?

Finding a best friend?

Magic is all around us. However, when we are in the Sympathetic aka the Fight or Flight part of the nervous system, the magic may be viewed with fear and resistance. When we consciously shift into the Parasympathetic aka Rest and Restore mode, we can see the magic clearly.

What does magic mean for you? It might be wonderful habit to keep a magic journal. Every day, write down the events that you notice that make you feel good. Whether you just happened to get the exact product you wanted from Amazon, got a great seat for a concert or survived a car crash safely. When you notice magic, it creates the habit of seeing magic. What a delicious thought…
